Carla May’s greatest advice to aspiring entrepreneur’s is, ‘don’t be afraid to ask for help’. In 2012, after operating her business Corner Stone HR Inc for more than a year, Carla approached Navigate for guidance to further develop her service offerings and client base.
While working on a successful 3-year pilot project in the Human Resources Field, Carla developed a passion for Human Resources Management. Upon project completion she recognized a need for the continuation of similar services, and so began her journey to becoming an entrepreneur. Corner Stone HR Inc began providing Human Resources Management consulting, training and facilitation services to a diverse group of businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies in 2011, and in 2013 grew to include Occupational Health and Safety Program and Policy Development services.
