Collide Discover Program (Powered by Basecamp): Discover Your Startup
Our program is designed to support anyone who has a business idea or not entirely sure what idea to choose. Geared towards students who want to develop entrepreneurial skills and towards professionals who want to be more entrepreneurial in their organizations. We provide a mix of accountability and practical skills and will conclude with a pitch day.
The program typically runs from September to November, and again late January to March. Basecamp is a 10-week program consisting of 2-4 hours per week and includes 2 sessions per week plus independent work. One session will be as a group, and the other session will be one-on-one with one of our advisors.
The program lasts 10 weeks.
The application process typically opens in August and late December.
You can apply by filling out the online application form from our website during the onboarding time frame, ensuring that all required fields are completed.
You will need to provide some basic details about yourself. If you have a business idea already, you will be asked to describe it and some basics of your business model. If you don’t yet have an idea, that’s okay! You will be asked to describe why you are interested in this program.
After the application deadline, our team will conduct an initial screening to ensure all applications are complete and meet our eligibility criteria. A short list of candidates will be offered a 10-minute call to introduce themselves and their interest in the program.
You will receive an email notification and then be offered a short 10-minute phone/video call.
Final decisions will be made once onboarding closes and interviews are completed. Accepted applicants will receive an email with acceptance with next steps
Participants are expected to attend weekly sessions, individually and in group settings, and actively participate in all program activities. The goal is to help you evaluate your start up idea and determine whether your business idea is a “go” or “no-go” in its current form.
We will offer individual in person sessions along with group workshops.
Pitch day is your opportunity to present your startup idea and get feedback.

Applications typically open in August and November, and typical run from September-November and January-March.
