- Learn skills for thinking and acting like an entrepreneur
- Evaluate your start-up idea with three “stress tests”
- Determine whether your business idea is “go” or “no-go” in its current form.
- Pitch a business idea at the end of the program
- 8-week program
- 3-4 hours/week (2 live sessions/ week plus independent work)
- Offered twice per year
- No cost
- Receive up to $500 funding towards starting your business
- Non-academic certificate upon completion
- Open to all
- Entrepreneurs with an existing start-up or an idea that already has some validation through research
- Develop an evidence-based business model and minimum viable product (MVP) after conducting customer interviews
- Receive tailored support for growing your business
- Dedicated industry mentor
- 12-week program
- Full-time commitment
- Offered twice per year (Winter and Fall)
- Regular meetings with Navigate Manager and industry mentor
- Get $5,000 in support for living expenses
- Open to businesses located on the West Coast of NL (at least 50% of time will be in-person in Corner Brook)
- Must have evidence of traction appropriate to the stage of your start-up
- Must be able to demonstrate an initial understanding of target market, value propositions, and market size. (ideally through completion of Basecamp program)
